I think it is very telling that he has so many around him to protect him, and none of them said a word. That’s newsworthy.

This would have been a story no matter who is in office. The tone might change from “Look at that idiot!” to “He/She is human after all!” depending on the news outlet and the Pres , but it would still make the news.

I know it is. I’m just saying that it seems so stupid to be worthy of the coverage it’s getting. The fact that he’s powerful and toilet paper got stuck to his foot doesn’t make it news worthy. It’s almost a distraction from bigger issues like the tax evasion and the Kavanugh hearing

It’s newsworthy because it’s a distraction. It’ll blow over faster than the covfefe, and then the real and depressing news will be back.

Let people have their laugh, it doesn’t need to be doom and gloom all the time.

It does make me wonder if his aides and assistants noticed before he stepped out in the public eye.  Did they choose to not say anything, or did they just not notice at all?
